Some people go out of their way to be different. Some people don't give a hoot whether they are different or not. In the end, many people will just need to have access to adequate information on what their options are so that they can make the best decision, while others might stick to their fixed ideas. @Matt – True, but it depends on the person. Most people do not like to be "different". They worry about how their home will look, will the white roof look "dirty" a year down the road and they also are concerned about resale value. However, personally I think it is the way to go. We need to keep educating people on the advantages of white roofs. Hopefully the media will catch on and start promoting it so it won't seem so "different" to our customers. As wonderful as this sounds I think it will take time for it to catch on.
